Mexican Uncanceled Stocks and Bonds
There has been a strong market since 2007 for Uncanceled Mexican bonds. This very speculative demand is unprecedented. It has become obvious that the usual factors that spur demand do not apply in this category. History and graphics are normally important but clearly take a backseat in this very different Uncanceled bond business.

- “Maximilian” – Mexican Empire £500 Bond of 1864. Issued under the reign of Emperor Maximilian. Very Rare and this is the highest denomination known of the Maximilians.
- Republica Mexicana “Christopher Columbus”, 1885 bonds from the £5 to the highest £1,000 denomination (9 denominations issued.
- Banco de San Luis Potosi, known as the “Founders Bond San Luis Potosi” yellow bond, 1,000 Pesos dated 1897. Rare and very popular.
- Banco de San Luis Potosi, “Founders Share San Luis Potosi” green stock of 100 Pesos. Dated 1897.
- Estados Unidos Mexicanos, “Pink Lady or Red Diamond”, £20/100 Pesos dated 1895 to 1899.
- Republica Mexicana, Deuda Consolidada Exterior Del 5% de 1899, denominations of £20 green, £100 Olive, £200 blue, £500 brown and the very rare £1,000 Orange.
- Banco Oriental De Mexico, 1,000 Pesos in brown dated 1900. Very Rare.
- The Banco Central Mexicano, “Blueberry” stock of 1903, 1905, and 1908. Comes in 100 Pesos green, 1,000 Pesos brown, and the very rare 2,500 Pesos blue.
- Estados Unidos Mexicanos, “Blue Dove”, 1904, $1,000 U.S. Dollars, Blue, Rare!
- Banco de Guanajuato, “Winston Churchill”, stock of 1902 to 1906, 100 Pesos, green. Also, the rare 1,000 Pesos brown.
- Banco Peninsular Mexicano “Twin Ladies”, stock of 1908, 100 Pesos green.
- Banco de Londres Y Mexico “Queen Victoria 100” and the rare and legendary “Queen Victoria 1,000”. Both are dated 1905. These stocks are very sought after with special demand for the 1,000 Pesos which sells for as much as $1 Million Dollars each.
- Banco Hipotecario de Credito Territorial Mexicano, S.A., “Queen Elizabeths”, 100 Pesos, 1908 to 1914 stocks in blue and bonds in green.
- El Banco Internacional e Hipotecario De Mexico, “Queen Elizabeth 1,000”, 1911, multicolored engraved bond. Very Rare.
- Banco National De Mexico, S.A., “Umbrella”, 1 Share/50 Pesos brown and 5 Shares/250 Pesos green dated 1935.
