Various Denominations. Rare-dealing with money for World War I soldiers. Attractive! So important! So historic!!! World War I, also known as the First World War, spanned from 28 June 1914 to 11 November 1918 and is recognized as one of the most lethal conflicts in global history. The war was fought between two major alliances: the Allies, which included France, the United Kingdom, Russia, Italy, Japan, and the United States, and the Central Powers, led by Germany, Austria-Hungary, and the Ottoman Empire. Combat took place across various regions, including Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Pacific, and parts of Asia. Approximately 9 million military personnel lost their lives in battle, with an additional 23 million sustaining injuries. Civilian casualties reached around 5 million due to military actions, famine, and disease. Furthermore, millions more perished as a result of genocide, and the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic was worsened by the movement of troops during the conflict.
The early 20th century was marked by escalating diplomatic tensions among the major European powers, culminating on 28 June 1914, when Gavrilo Princip, a Bosnian Serb, assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand, the heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne. In response, Austria-Hungary blamed Serbia and declared war on 28 July. Russia mobilized to support Serbia, and by 4 August, the web of defensive alliances had drawn in Germany, France, and Britain.

A bond is a document of title for a loan. Bonds are issued, not only by businesses, but also by national, state or city governments, or other public bodies, or sometimes by individuals. Bonds are a loan to the company or other body. They are normally repayable within a stated period of time. Bonds earn interest at a fixed rate, which must usually be paid by the undertaking regardless of its financial results. A bondholder is a creditor of the undertaking.
