Massey Ferguson Limited is a prominent American manufacturer of agricultural machinery. The company was formed in 1953 as a result of the merger between Massey-Harris, a Canadian farm equipment producer, and the Ferguson Company from the United Kingdom. Initially headquartered in Toronto, and later in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, the company relocated its headquarters to Buffalo, New York, in 1991. This move occurred prior to its acquisition by AGCO, which also owns the former competitor Allis-Chalmers.

The origins of the company trace back to 1847 when Daniel Massey founded the Newcastle Foundry and Machine Manufactory in what is now known as Newcastle, Ontario. The enterprise was among the first to produce mechanical threshers, initially sourcing parts from the United States before progressing to the design and manufacture of its own machinery. Following this, Daniel Massey's son, Hart Massey, rebranded the company as the Massey Manufacturing Co.

A stock certificate is issued by businesses, usually companies. A stock is part of the permanent finance of a business. Normally, they are never repaid, and the investor can recover his/her money only by selling to another investor. Most stocks, or also called shares, earn dividends, at the business's discretion, depending on how well it has traded. A stockholder or shareholder is a part-owner of the business that issued the stock certificates.
