Foster Wheeler AG, previously known as Foster Wheeler Inc., was a Swiss multinational engineering conglomerate, with its main executive offices located in Reading, United Kingdom, and its registered office situated in Baar, Canton of Zug, Switzerland. The company was included in the NASDAQ-100 index on July 12, 2007. On November 13, 2014, Foster Wheeler merged with Amec plc, resulting in the formation of Amec Foster Wheeler. This newly formed entity was subsequently acquired and merged into Wood Group in October 2017.
Established in 1927, Foster Wheeler originated from the merger of the Power Specialty Company—an entity that succeeded the American Water Works Supply Company founded by Pell and Ernest Foster in 1884—and the Wheeler Condenser & Engineering Company, which was established by Frederick Merriam Wheeler in 1891. Initially headquartered in New York City, the company relocated to Livingston, New Jersey, where it remained for nearly 25 years before moving to Clinton, New Jersey, in 1987. In 2000, Foster Wheeler shifted its incorporation to Bermuda, and in 2008, it transitioned its incorporation to Switzerland.
Stock and Bond Specimens are made and usually retained by a printer as a record of the contract with a client, generally with manuscript contract notes such as the quantity printed. Specimens are sometimes produced for use by the printing company's sales team as examples of the firm’s products. These are usually marked "Specimen" and have no serial numbers.
