Grand Union Supermarkets, later known as Grand Union Family Markets and often referred to simply as Grand Union, is an American grocery chain operating in upstate New York and Vermont. The company was originally founded in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and later moved to Brooklyn, New York, then Elmwood Park, New Jersey, and finally to Wayne, New Jersey. At its peak, Grand Union operated throughout the northeastern United States, in the Midwest, Southeast, and internationally in the Caribbean and Canada.

In 2001, Grand Union filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and was sold to C&S Wholesale Grocers, which significantly scaled back its operations, maintaining only a few stores in upstate New York and New England. The chain was sold to Tops Friendly Markets in 2012, and in 2013, the remaining Grand Union stores were rebranded under the Tops name, effectively discontinuing the Grand Union brand. However, following the 2021 merger between Tops Friendly Markets and Price Chopper Supermarkets, the combined entity was required to divest 12 stores for regulatory approval. On November 9, 2021, C&S Wholesale Grocers announced the acquisition of these stores and their conversion back to Grand Union, reviving the historic brand.

A stock certificate is issued by businesses, usually companies. A stock is part of the permanent finance of a business. Normally, they are never repaid, and the investor can recover his/her money only by selling to another investor. Most stocks, or also called shares, earn dividends, at the business's discretion, depending on how well it has traded. A stockholder or shareholder is a part-owner of the business that issued the stock certificates.
