The bath house, later known as the Plunge, was one of the first attractions at the Pike. The Pike was located along the shoreline south of Ocean Boulevard It featured rides, food stands, gift shops, and arcades The Pike was known for its Cyclone Racer, a large wooden roller coaster that ran on pilings over the water The Pike also had a boardwalk-style amusement called the Walk of a Thousand Lights The Plunge had a heated salt-water pool, a pool for women only, and hot salt-water baths It also had 485 dressing rooms and 500 bathing suits for rent The Plunge had a balcony with seating for spectators The Plunge helped make swimming and bathing a social activity. The Pike area was redeveloped into a retail and entertainment center called The Pike at Rainbow Harbor.

A stock certificate is issued by businesses, usually companies. A stock is part of the permanent finance of a business. Normally, they are never repaid, and the investor can recover his/her money only by selling to another investor. Most stocks, or also called shares, earn dividends, at the business's discretion, depending on how well it has traded. A stockholder or shareholder is a part-owner of the business that issued the stock certificates.
