Bethlehem is a city situated in both Northampton and Lehigh Counties within the Lehigh Valley area of eastern Pennsylvania, United States. According to the 2020 census, the city had a population of 75,781, ranking it as the second-largest city in the Lehigh Valley, following Allentown, and the seventh-largest city in Pennsylvania. Of this population, 55,639 residents were located in Northampton County, while 19,343 resided in Lehigh County. The city is positioned along the Lehigh River, which is a 109-mile-long (175 km) tributary of the Delaware River.

Lititz is a borough located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States, approximately 9 miles (14 km) north of Lancaster. The 2020 census recorded a population of 9,370 in Lititz. Established by members of the Moravian Church in 1756, the borough was named after a castle in Bohemia, now part of the Czech Republic, where the ancient Bohemian Brethren's Church was founded in 1457. Lititz was one of four prominent Moravian communities in Pennsylvania, alongside Bethlehem, Emmaus, and Nazareth.
