Set of 3 different denominations. In memory of Eduardo Machado Gomez. Eduardo Machado Gómez (Santa Clara, Las Villas, Cuba, October 20, 1838 - Arroyo Colorado, Camagüey, Cuba, October 16, 1877) was a Cuban politician and military man of the 19th century. He was born in the city of Santa Clara, province of Las Villas, on October 20, 1838 in a well-off family. He was raised in Las Villas on February 6, 1869. He was a deputy from Las Villas to the Assembly of Guaimaro and was also a member of the House of Representatives of the Republic in Arms. In 1877 he resigned to join the troops of the Cuban Liberation Army. It is unknown if he held any military rank. He fell fighting towards the end of that year in Arroyo Colorado, Camagüey. Set of 3.
