Handwritten Receipt for numerous goods including chocolate addressed to William McKinley but signed for him. The 1st American chocolate house may have opened in Boston in 1682. In 1758 George Washington ordered 20 pounds of chocolate for breakfast guests at Mount Vernon and continued to order it until his death in 1799. Very interesting!
