Holiday Inn is a prominent American hotel chain headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, and is a brand under IHG Hotels & Resorts. Established in 1952 by Kemmons Wilson, the inaugural hotel was launched in Memphis, Tennessee. The chain was part of Bass Brewery from 1988 to 2000, followed by Six Continents from 2000 to 2003, and has been under the IHG Hotels & Resorts umbrella since 2003.
