Specimen Stock printed in multi-colors. Jo-Ann Stores, LLC, commonly known as Jo-Ann (stylized as JOANN), is an American fabric and crafts retail company headquartered in Hudson, Ohio. The company operates two retail chains: JOANN Fabrics and Crafts and Jo-Ann Etc. As of March 2020, Jo-Ann has 865 stores across 49 states and is privately owned by Leonard Green & Partners.

The company began in 1943 when German immigrants Hilda and Berthold Reich, Sigmund and Mathilda Rohrbach, and Justin and Alma Zimmerman opened the Cleveland Fabric Shop in Cleveland, Ohio. After expanding over the next two decades, the company was renamed Jo-Ann Fabrics in 1963, combining the names of the daughters from both founding families: Joan and Jacqueline Ann.

In 1969, Jo-Ann Fabrics became a publicly traded company on the American Stock Exchange under the name Fabri-Centers of America, Inc. The company made its first significant acquisition in 1994, purchasing Cloth World, a 342-store chain based in the southern United States, which expanded its footprint to 655 stores.

Stock and Bond Specimens are made and usually retained by a printer as a record of the contract with a client, generally with manuscript contract notes such as the quantity printed. Specimens are sometimes produced for use by the printing company's sales team as examples of the firm’s products. These are usually marked "Specimen" and have no serial numbers.
