Specimen Check. Battle Creek, Michigan. Rare! The Kellogg Company, commonly referred to as Kellogg's, is a prominent American multinational food manufacturing enterprise based in Battle Creek, Michigan, United States. The company specializes in the production of cereals and convenience foods, such as crackers and toaster pastries, and promotes its products under several well-known brands, including Corn Flakes, Frosted Flakes, Pringles, Eggo, and Cheez-It. The mission of Kellogg's is to "Nourish families so they can flourish and thrive." Kellogg's products are available in more than 180 countries worldwide. The company's largest manufacturing facility is located in Trafford Park, Trafford, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom, which also serves as its UK headquarters. Additional corporate offices can be found outside of Battle Creek in cities such as Chicago, Dublin (serving as the European Headquarters), Shanghai, and Querétaro City. Notably, Kellogg's has been granted a Royal Warrant by Queen Elizabeth II and the Prince of Wales. The origins of Kellogg's date back to 1876 when John Harvey Kellogg became the superintendent of the Battle Creek Sanitarium, originally established as the Western Health Reform Institute by Ellen White. His brother, W. K. Kellogg, served as the bookkeeper. It was during this time that corn flakes were inadvertently created, leading to the establishment of the Kellogg Company.
