"Roven" Printer's proofs of uncut sheets of Playing Cards are very rare because they were discarded after use. This sheet of the Standing Liege pattern is actuallly dated in contemporary manuscript writing 17 July 1897. The coloring was added in a secondary process. Measures 7 1/2" x 12 1/2". Superb! Very Rare!
