$1,000 4 1/2% Specimen Bond printed by Security-Columbian Banknote Company. The Reynolds Metals Company International Headquarters, located in Henrico County near Richmond, Virginia, is an International Style building complex set within a carefully designed landscape. Completed in 1958, the low-rise Executive Office Building was created by architect Gordon Bunshaft of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, with landscape architecture by Charles F. Gillette of Richmond. This headquarters complex is recognized as a pioneering example of modern suburban office development. In 2000, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. Today, it serves as the headquarters for the Altria Group, previously known as Philip Morris Companies, Inc., and is owned by the University of Richmond.
