Established in 1884, the city is situated along the South Fork of the Coeur d'Alene River and adjacent to Interstate 90. According to the 2020 census, the population of Wallace was recorded at 791 residents. The Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes, a rails-to-trail pathway, traverses the city. The discovery of gold in a stream approximately twelve miles north of what would become Wallace occurred in the spring of 1882, leading to an influx of settlers in the area, particularly in the subsequent year. This period saw the establishment of mining camps such as Eagle City, Prichard, and Murrayville (now known as Murray), along with a surge in mining claims. Additionally, silver was also found in the region.
A stock certificate is issued by businesses, usually companies. A stock is part of the permanent finance of a business. Normally, they are never repaid, and the investor can recover his/her money only by selling to another investor. Most stocks, or also called shares, earn dividends, at the business's discretion, depending on how well it has traded. A stockholder or shareholder is a part-owner of the business that issued the stock certificates.
