Specimen Stock. Sunshine Biscuits, previously recognized as The Loose-Wiles Biscuit Company, was an independent American manufacturer of cookies, crackers, and cereals. This company, which developed notable products like Cheez-It, was acquired by Keebler Company in 1996, which itself was later acquired by Kellogg Company in 2001. At that time, Sunshine Biscuits was based in Elmhurst, Illinois, where Keebler operated until 2001. When Keebler purchased Sunshine Biscuits, it was the third-largest cookie manufacturer in the United States.
Stock and Bond Specimens are made and usually retained by a printer as a record of the contract with a client, generally with manuscript contract notes such as the quantity printed. Specimens are sometimes produced for use by the printing company's sales team as examples of the firm�s products. These are usually marked "Specimen" and have no serial numbers.
