Franklin College was established in 1834. It is a four-year private co-educational college of liberal arts situated in Franklin, Indiana. The campus of the college is spread across more than 155 acres of land. The college offers around 50 academic majors. On September 17, 1907 the old Franklin College Association passed out of legal existence and Franklin College of Indiana was incorporated, succeeding to all the property rights of the old joint-stock association.
